A Selfless man, A physician, A healer, A man of dedication, A man of simplicity what more terms! Rather we are running out of words!

He hasn’t earned money big rather have won many of our hearts! He is a spot light and should be remembered throughout our legacy.

Thousands of people have gathered on the streets of siddhapudur, Coimbatore to say bid adieu to him!

Coimbatore people have lossed such a big asset! Even many couldn’t accept his demise. Its shows his respect towards his humanity and mankind.

The streets of the sidhapudur near Gandhipuram in Coimbatore have overflowed with his followers, as thousands of people descended to pay their respects to the much beloved “20 rupees doctor”. Though Coimbatore is the hub of many multi specialty hospitals services, Dr. V. Balasubramaniam was their savior.

A big respect to him!

He runs a clinic to address his patients with love and care that is the reason he had won many of our hearts! He is colloquially called as “20 Rupees doctor” because that was the maximum fee he charged from any of his patients.

Where he hails from?

He hails from a Bodinayakanur in Theni district; He first started off charging his patients just for Rs.2 for a consultation, slowly increasing it over the years by small amounts. Even until two years ago, He asked his patients not much but a charge of Rs. 10. Off course! That’s not so huge amount.

Dr. V. Balasubramaniam addressing Covai post

“God has given me sufficient money to take care of myself. I am helping the sick and the weak recover their health. Let God do the rest of the work,” Dr Balasubramaniam had told CovaiPost last year.

His followers concern:

He is the picture of kindness, generosity and affection

Many have addressed that he used to charge the fees from the patients only if he have gave them an injection or medicines. On an approx the patients would spend Rs. 50 including medicines and the consultation fee. If we re- visit him he wouldn’t take money from them. And mostly he tries to treat patients without the medicines.

Thousands of candles have been lined up in his clinic and offering prayers before the portrait of the doctor, and to bid farewell to him.

While so many of the doctors are busy in making huge money, he never bothered about it. Finally he had won so many of our hearts and salutes!

A big respect to the great man! And heartfelt condolence to our true inspiration Dr. V. Balasubramaniam from Nishta team. May his soul rest in peace and memories are reminded throughout our legacy.
